In a data center, electrical work isn't a trade — it's the foundation of the business. A single unplanned outage can cost more than the entire electrical budget.

We build and maintain data center and server-room power the way mission-critical demands: redundant paths, UPS and PDU integration, proper cooling loads, and meticulous documentation.

What We Handle

Redundant power distribution, UPS installation and integration, PDU and rack power, dedicated cooling circuits, and generator and ATS backup.

Plus preventive maintenance and thermal imaging to catch a hot connection before it becomes an outage, and structured cabling to keep the network side just as clean.

Redundancy That Actually Holds Up

In a data center, redundancy isn't a buzzword — it's the whole point. The goal is to remove every single point of failure between the utility and the server, so that any one component can fail, or be serviced, without the load ever noticing. That means dual A/B power paths, feeds from separate distribution boards, and automatic transfer that switches in milliseconds.

The difference between N+1 and 2N matters here. N+1 gives you one spare beyond what the load needs; 2N gives you a fully mirrored, independent second path. We design and wire to the level of resilience your uptime commitment demands, and we prove it — every path labeled, every breaker mapped, so a 2 a.m. failover is a routine event, not a scramble.

Concurrent maintainability is just as important as redundancy. We build so that a UPS can be bypassed, a PDU swapped, or a breaker replaced with the room still fully live — no maintenance window that puts the whole facility at risk.

Density, Cooling, and Room to Grow

Rack power density keeps climbing. A build that was generous at 5 kW per rack a few years ago is now cramped, and high-performance and AI workloads push far beyond that. We size busway, PDUs, and branch circuits for where your density is heading, not just where it is today.

Power and cooling are two sides of the same coin — every watt that goes into a rack comes back out as heat. We install the dedicated cooling circuits, containment power, and monitoring that keep the thermal envelope under control, and we plan the electrical infrastructure so adding a row of racks is a scheduled upgrade, not a rebuild.

Questions

Data Centers FAQs

Straight answers to what people ask most. Still curious? Just call.

Yes. We schedule and stage work to protect uptime — hot/cold aisle awareness, redundant path cutovers, and off-hours execution as needed.

We install and integrate UPS, PDUs, automatic transfer switches, and standby generators so critical loads ride through any interruption.

N+1 provides one spare component beyond what the load requires; 2N provides a completely mirrored, independent second power path. We design to whichever level your service-level commitment and budget call for.

Always. Every circuit is labeled and mapped, and you receive clear as-built drawings and panel schedules — essential for safe maintenance, audits, and future expansion in a mission-critical room.
