Pendants follow rules, and those rules are why some kitchens look designed and others look improvised. Over an island, plan roughly 30 inches between pendant centers and about 6 inches in from each end. Hang them 30 to 36 inches above the counter, higher for tall ceilings or tall family members. Over a dining table, keep the fixture about two-thirds the width of the table.

We measure, mock up, and confirm the layout with you before drilling. Then we install rated boxes and proper support so a heavy glass fixture doesn't become a ceiling repair. Each set of pendants goes on its own dimmer, because the light you want for chopping onions is not the light you want for a dinner party.

Most of our pendant calls come from kitchen remodels and refreshes across Chandler, Tempe, Ahwatukee, and central Phoenix. Some homes already have a box in the right place. Many don't. We run new wiring through finished ceilings, center the boxes on the island instead of on the builder's guess, and patch cleanly.

Pendants look best as part of a plan. We often add recessed lighting for fill light and chandeliers or accent lighting in the next room so the whole space feels intentional. Most pendant installs take a few hours. We protect your counters, clean up the dust, and check every fixture with a level before we call it done. If it isn't perfect, it isn't finished.
