EverLights

“The ladder was supposed to be a memory. A tripped outlet shouldn't make it a hobby again.”

Every family in the Valley has a ladder story. The year the gutter came off in somebody's hand. The year someone stood on the top step, which says right on it not to. The year the lights went up on the first of December and half of them were dead by the fifth. Permanent lighting was invented, more or less, to end those stories.

EverLights is one of the systems built for that job: addressable, color-changing LEDs in a low-profile track under the eave, scheduled and controlled from an app. It's sold and installed through authorized dealers. We're licensed electricians, not an EverLights dealer. If yours is under warranty and acting up, call the dealer first.

When the problem is power, or the warranty is behind you, call us. We trace dead sections, fix tripping GFCIs, restore controller power, and repair the wiring and receptacles that keep the system running through a Phoenix summer. We also take systems down and put them back up when the roof or stucco needs work. You can see the full range of options on our roofline lighting hub.

What We Do

EverLights Help From Licensed Electricians

One company, one schedule, one price you see before we start.

Electrical & Install

Before the dealer hangs a single light, the house needs a safe place to plug it in. We build that.

  • Site check of the panel and existing exterior receptacles
  • New dedicated circuit for the lighting system where needed
  • Outdoor GFCI receptacles with weatherproof in-use covers
  • Surge protection for the controller and power supplies
  • Power supply placement that keeps hardware out of the worst heat

Service & Repair

When an EverLights system misbehaves, we find the fault and quote the fix before we pick up a tool.

  • Diagnosing dark runs, flicker, and patterns that skip or stutter
  • Fixing GFCIs that won't reset, or won't stay reset
  • Getting the controller back online when the app loses it
  • Repairing storm, surge, and critter damage to wiring
  • Removing and reinstalling runs around re-roofing and stucco repair

Repair

When Your EverLights Lights Act Up

Here's what EverLights owners in the Valley call us about most, and what's usually behind it.

GFCI won't reset at all

Either there's an active ground fault downstream or the GFCI itself has failed. It needs testing, not more pressing.

Lights stutter or skip in a pattern

Usually a data connection issue partway down the run. Several summers of heat cycling is a common cause.

Controller keeps rebooting

Unstable power: a loose receptacle, a failing power supply, or a shared circuit sagging under load.

Dark section near a roof valley or downspout

Water and debris collect there in a monsoon. Check the connections and track nearest the runoff first.

Chewed wiring

Pack rats and roof rats like warm, sheltered spots, and eaves and attics qualify. We repair the wiring and point out the likely entry.

Everything died during a storm

A surge from a nearby strike. Test the circuit and power supplies before assuming the lights are finished.

The Roofer Is Coming. Your Lights Need to Leave First.

Tile roofs in the Valley last a long time, but the underlayment beneath them doesn't, and sooner or later a crew shows up to pull the tile and redo what's underneath. Your lights are in the way. So are the power supplies, and sometimes the receptacle the whole system plugs into.

We remove EverLights runs in labeled sections, note where every connection lives, and reinstall when the roof, stucco, and paint are done. Then we test the whole system end to end. It's the difference between a reinstall and a jigsaw puzzle with no picture on the box. If you're updating other exterior lighting while the scaffolding is up, ask about our decorative lighting work. Book us the same week you book the roofer.

Small Electrical Fixes That Prevent Big Calls

Most repairs we make on permanent lighting aren't about the lights at all. They're about a receptacle that's been baking on a west wall for five summers, a cover that cracked and let the dust in, or a circuit shared with a garage refrigerator that cycles on at exactly the wrong moment.

Fixing those is quick and modest next to replacing hardware. Our electrical repair team handles it, and whole-home surge protection at the panel keeps the next monsoon from turning a fixable problem into a parts order. One visit now beats three calls in August.

FAQ

EverLights: Questions, Answered

No. We're licensed electricians, not an EverLights dealer or certified installer. We don't sell EverLights products or perform warranty work. We do electrical prep, troubleshooting, and out-of-warranty repair.

New EverLights systems come through a dealer. We can do the electrical prep for that install, or quote our own permanent LED roofline lighting so you can compare the two.

Often, yes. We relocate receptacles and power supplies to cooler, easier-to-reach spots. If the system is still under warranty, we'll coordinate with your dealer first.

Gladly. We'll test the electrical side while they look at the lights, and share what we find in writing so nobody has to guess.

We work across the Valley, including Chandler, Queen Creek, Mesa, Scottsdale, and Gilbert.
