Permanent Christmas Lights
“Climbing a ladder in 75-degree sunshine to staple wire to your house is a tradition once. By the tenth year it is a habit worth breaking.”
Phoenix does Christmas in shirtsleeves. The thermometer says 75, the sky is a clean blue, and somewhere in the Valley a grown man stands on the top rung of a ladder he was told not to stand on, holding a strand of bulbs in his teeth. Half the strand works. He knows this because he tested it in the garage. It worked in the garage.
Permanent Christmas lights end the ritual. We install a slim LED track along your roofline, tucked under the eave or fascia and color-matched to the house, so in daylight it all but disappears. At night you open an app and pick a scene: classic warm white, red and green, blue and white for Hanukkah, or a slow twinkle the neighbors will ask about. Nothing to hang in November. Nothing to unhook in January. Nothing to stuff in a plastic bin in a garage that will hit 140 degrees by June.
The same lights work the other eleven months. Warm white every night as architectural accent lighting. Team colors on game day. Orange in October. That is the real case for the system, and the reason it earns its keep in a way a box of seasonal strands never will. If you want the dollars-and-cents version first, read what permanent roofline lighting costs in Phoenix.
We are licensed electricians, which matters more than it sounds. The lights are the pretty part. The power supplies, circuits, and connections are the part that keeps working through a 115-degree July and a monsoon that arrives sideways. We do both, and we stand behind both with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
What We Do
Done Right, Done Once
One company, one schedule, one price you see before we start.
What You Get
A finished holiday display that runs from your phone, and a system you won't think about again until you want to.
- Individually addressable LEDs along the rooflines you choose: front elevation, full perimeter, or garage and entry
- Slim track color-matched to your stucco, trim, or fascia
- Holiday scenes loaded and ready, plus custom patterns you design yourself
- Schedules that light the house at dusk and shut it off at the hour you pick
- An app walkthrough before we leave, so running the lights isn't just your teenager's job
How We Install It
Most homes are finished in one day. The day goes like this.
- Walk the roofline with you and map the runs, the corners, and where the power supply belongs
- Mount the track under the eave or fascia, fastened and sealed for wind and heat
- Install power supplies on dedicated, properly protected GFCI circuits with weatherproof covers
- Test every run, load your first scenes, and set the nightly schedule
- Clean up, haul off the scraps, and leave nothing on the roof but the lights
Why Seasonal Strands Fail in Phoenix
Seasonal lights were designed for places where December is the hard month. Here, December is the easy month. The hard months are the ones the lights spend in your garage, where the bins bake all summer and the plastic sockets go brittle. Come Thanksgiving weekend, the strand that worked last year greets you with a dark middle third and no explanation.
Then there are the extension cords. A typical seasonal display runs off whatever outlet is closest, snakes across the walkway, and shares a circuit with the garage fridge. That is how a holiday gets interrupted by a tripped breaker at 7 p.m. A permanent system is wired the way it should have been from the start: its own protected circuit, its own weatherproof connection, and no orange cord across the front step. For the full side-by-side, see permanent vs. seasonal Christmas lights.
Holidays, the Valley Way
The Valley takes the season seriously, in its own fashion. Downtown Chandler builds its Christmas tree out of tumbleweeds. Glendale Glitters fills the historic downtown with lights. Families drive out to see the holiday lights on the Mesa Arizona Temple grounds. None of these traditions involves snow, and none of them apologizes for it.
Your house can join in without a weekend on the ladder. Run warm white the first week of December, switch to red and green for the neighborhood walk, and set a slow twinkle for Christmas Eve. Gold for New Year's. Then back to warm white, so the house still looks good in January, when everyone else's display is sagging off the gutter. Homeowners searching for permanent holiday lights in Scottsdale tend to want exactly this: a show in December and a quiet, handsome house the rest of the year.
The Electrical Part Nobody Photographs
Plenty of companies can stick lights to a house. Fewer can tell you what else is on the circuit, whether the outlet behind the bougainvillea has GFCI protection, or why a power supply shouldn't bake on a west wall in the afternoon sun. That is the part that decides whether a system lasts ten Christmases or two.
Every Bleuwave roofline lighting installation puts the power supply on a dedicated, properly protected circuit with a weatherproof cover, uses sealed connections built for heat and dust, and is done by a background-checked crew. We're licensed (ROC #340021), insured and bonded, and veteran-owned. Monsoon storms are hard on anything with a circuit board, so ask about whole-home surge protection while we're there.

FAQ
Permanent Christmas Lights: Questions, Answered
It depends on the length of your roofline, the number of corners and stories, and where power can reach. We quote a flat, upfront price after we see the house, and the price we quote is the price you pay. 0% financing is available on approved credit.
Barely. The track is slim, color-matched to your trim or fascia, and tucked under the eave line. Most guests won't notice it until you turn it on.
That's what we build for. Connections are sealed and rated for heat, sun, dust, and wind, and the power supplies sit on dedicated GFCI circuits with weatherproof covers. We install as if it will be 115 degrees on the eave, because it will be.
That's the point. The same lights run warm white every night, themes for every holiday on the calendar, and your team's colors when it matters. See our page on game-day team lighting for ideas.
Many communities do, especially with a discreet track and warm white as the everyday setting. Rules vary, so check yours before install. We'll help you gather the photos, product details, and schedule your board will want. More in our HOA-friendly install guide.
