Charging a Truck-Sized Battery
An R1T or R1S carries one of the largest batteries in any passenger EV. That's great for a weekend on the Mogollon Rim and a problem on a standard 120-volt outlet, which would need the better part of a week to refill it. A Level 2 charger is not optional for a Rivian. It's the whole plan.
The Rivian Wall Charger delivers up to 48 amps, or about 11.5 kilowatts, on a 60-amp circuit, roughly 25 miles of range per hour. Overnight, that refills a typical daily drive several times over. We size the circuit to your panel's real capacity after a load calculation, so the charger and your AC can both run in August without an argument at the breaker.
Garage, Carport, or Driveway
Rivian owners park in more places than most: deep garages, open carports, side-yard RV pads, and driveways in Cave Creek where the truck never fits inside. The Wall Charger is rated for outdoor installation, and we install it with weatherproof conduit and fittings rated for sun, dust, and monsoon rain.
